Pro Audio Solutions

Built by an engineer, for engineers.

Pro Audio Solutions started on 27 March 2023 with a single rule — teach the reasoning, not the buttons. This is what that looks like in practice.

Our story

A classroom that works like a show floor.

The founder of Pro Audio Solutions has spent years carrying consoles — small clubs, large festivals, touring setups and everything between. The frustration was always the same: new engineers could operate a desk, but could not read a system. They could copy a sound, but could not explain it.

So the institute was built the opposite way around. Every session starts with the physics and the maths, then moves to the console, then to the measurement, and only then to the room. Students are taught to justify every decision they make at the desk — because on a real show, nobody has time to guess.

The teaching continues outside the classroom. The Pro Audio Solutions YouTube channel publishes the same lessons for free — in Bengali and English — so that anyone, anywhere, can learn the craft without the fees.

The journey

From one room to a community.

A short history of how the institute grew — and what we are building next.

27 MAR 2023

Pro Audio Solutions is founded

The institute opens in West Bengal with one rule: no course is ever built around a single brand of console. The foundation tracks — Stage, RF, System and FOH/MOH — are defined from day one.

THE CHANNEL

The YouTube channel goes live

Bengali-language lessons on live sound, gear, mixing and system work — published free for anyone who wants to learn, long before a single batch enrols.

THE VENDOR PROGRAMME

The 7 + 7 day vendor programme launches

A separate, shorter programme built for the small sound vendors who run local cultural and orchestra events on a modest budget — seven days of basics, seven days of advanced technique. It was never aimed at engineers; it exists so a cheap rig can still produce a good show.

SETUP REVIEW

Live “Setup Review” sessions begin

Students and working engineers send in their own rigs — stage boxes, amp racks, antenna distribution, console setups — and the channel reviews and tunes them together, on air.

TODAY

100+ students, 25+ batches

More than a hundred students have been through the classroom and over twenty-five batches have run to completion since 27 March 2023. Alongside that, the YouTube channel has grown to 6,300+ subscribers — an audience, not a student count. The standard has not changed: understand the system, then work the desk.

Mission & method

What we are actually trying to build.

MISSION Make real engineering knowledge reachable

Depth, not slogans. Anyone who genuinely wants to learn live sound should be able to get the same quality of teaching, whether they sit in our classroom or watch the channel at 2 AM.

VISION Engineers who can explain the system

We want our students to walk into an unfamiliar rig and read it — because brands change every year, but the logic of sound does not.

METHOD Theory → Measure → Practise → Perform

Understand the principle, verify it with a measurement, rehearse it on the desk, then deliver it on a show without the safety net.

What we promise

And what we do not promise.

Myth

We do not sell a job

A certificate cannot hire you and a classroom cannot give you show hours. Too many institutes in this market promise the opposite, and that is exactly why half-trained engineers struggle to find work. If we sold you a job, we would be lying to you.

What we give

A correct, honest foundation

  • Theory that holds up on any rig, any brand, any room.
  • Hands-on desk work in every session, in batches small enough to share.
  • An attendance certificate for every class you finish.
  • Free tools, lessons and a community that keeps helping after you leave.
What you build

Your reputation, on the floor

  • Show hours — the only real teacher of live judgement.
  • Gigs — small ones first, then the bigger rooms.
  • A name people trust when the next event comes up.
  • Depth — by finishing every designation track, one after another.
Free Sound Tools

Calculators that belong in an engineer's pocket

Pink noise generator, frequency & wavelength, subwoofer design and spacing, inverse square law, alignment delay, power converters (Amps ↔ kW ↔ kVA), RF link budget, coverage footprint, voltage drop, RT60 and more — all running in your browser, no sign-up, no app needed.

The room

Where the theory becomes a mix.

Consoles, racks, wireless, line array and measurement tools in one room — with a batch small enough for everybody to work the desk.

Join the room

Come and sit at the console.

Whether you are starting from zero or already carrying a show, there is a track for you. One message and we will send the batch details.
